Meet Melanie Shaner! Melanie was crowned Miss Kansas Teen USA 2015 on November 30, 2014 and will compete for the title of Miss Teen USA in August at Atlantis Paradise Island in the Bahamas. . She is a recent graduate of Blue Valley North High School, where she was on the cheerleading team for 4 years. In the fall, Melanie will be attending the University of Kansas and plans to study Political Science. Her dream job is to become a United States Senator. Aside from pageants, her favorite activities are pilates, walking her labrador retriever, and volunteering.
