What is a custom illustration?

A custom illustration is a detailed re-creation of a specific outfit and will resemble the appearance of the girl wearing the outfit. Because it is completely customizable and one of a kind, a custom illustration is in a higher price point. Custom illustrations can take anywhere from 2-8 weeks depending on my workload and the complexity of the dress. There is a rush option that guarantees your drawing within fourteen days for an additional $50. You can also add calligraphy to the illustration to make it even more personal. On the print itself the calligraphy is underneath the drawing, and on the digital edit it’s on the side. Once you place an order for a custom illustration, please email photos of the outfit, and a photo of the girl wearing the outfit.

How do I send photos?

Once you place an order, please email multiple photos of the outfit and a headshot photo to ellieLillustrations@gmail.com. The best photos to send are usually NOT professional ones. Candid photos off your phone are the best to work from. Stage lights and professional photos tend to make the color look different and washes out the details of the dress. Unfortunately I do not have an upload photo option on my website just yet. 

What is a digital edit?

A digital edit is a jpeg file of an illustration. You can use your digital edit at your own discretion. You can also order products of your image through my site HERE. The benefit of ordering through my site vs. others is my ability to adjust the size and layout for each item and your continued support for a small business.  I keep all images on file if you would like to purchase at a later time. On the illustration itself, the text is on the bottom. On a digital edit, I place the text to the side. Every custom illustration comes with a digital edit. For semi-custom back illustrations and group illustrations you can select from the options below. You can choose your dress color and add a crown/sash and text. When you add a semi custom item to your cart a form will pop up with the selections.

What is a semi-custom digital edit?

A semi-custom illustration is just a digital file that is emailed, and no actual print is mailed. The illustration can be customized to an extent. You may select hair/skin/eye/dress color and can add a specific crown/sash, but other than those selections it cannot be customized anymore. The hair length, face shape, features, and body size all remain the same. The outline will stay the same and only the coloring will change. You can use your digital edit at your own discretion. You can also order products of your image through my site HERE. The benefit of ordering through my site vs. others is my ability to adjust the size and layout for each item and your continued support for a small business.  I keep all images on file if you would like to purchase at a later time. Semi-custom illustrations are at a lower price range and can be completed in a shorter amount of time. Usually the turn around time for a digital edit is 14 days or less. Pageant system patterns:

Pageant prints are created for specific pageant systems and are often requested by the director. It is $75 to create a pageant print. Once the print is created, I will add the items to my site for anyone to purchase, and offer directors a wholesale price.
